Sophos Intercept X (Endpoint Protection)
To stop the widest range of threats, Sophos Intercept X employs a comprehensive defence-in-depth approach to endpoint protection rather than simply relying on one primary security technique. This is the “the power of the plus” – a combination of leading foundational (traditional) and modern (next-gen) techniques. Intercept X integrates the industry’s top-rated malware detection and exploit protection.
Sophos Intercept X (Server Protection)
Intercept X for Server offers a comprehensive, defence-in-depth approach using deep learning malware detection, exploit prevention, anti-ransomware technology, application whitelisting, active adversary protection, and in-depth root cause analysis.

3rd Party Support Organisation (3PSO) Support and Setup
3PSO's who will be responsible for the deployment of Sophos Central are advised to set up an account on their company's domain which can be aliased to the schools they support i.e. schoolA@companyname. This address will be used to create the administrative email address to log in to the cloud portal.
Please note that it is not currently possible to manage multiple sites from a single account, although LGfL are working with Sophos to have this implemented. As a result, individual email addresses will be required per school:
Number of workstations at the school
Number of servers at the school
